If you go to Jamba Juice either all the time or just once in a while, then I am almost positive that you get the same drink practically every time you go because you're afraid to order and pay for a drink that you won't like.

Well, this is for you because below is a list of items from Jamba Juice that I have tried and absolutely love.

1. Açaí Bowl

The Açaí bowl base is composed of Açaí berries, soymilk, strawberries, blueberries, and bananas. At normal Jamba Juices, the toppings are granola, fresh strawberries, blueberries, and banana as well as coconut and honey. At the Jamba Juice on campus, the toppings are granola, fresh banana, coconut, and honey. If you have never had Açaí berries before, don't fret! I had never had these before either but this bowl is super good!

2. Matcha Green Tea Blast

The Matcha Green Tea Blast is composed of soymilk, matcha green tea powder, and frozen yogurt. If you do not like green tea then you will probably not like this smoothie, but for all of you green tea lovers, you absolutely need to try this drink!

3. White Gummy Bear

The White Gummy Bear is a secret menu drink and is composed of: peach juice, soymilk, raspberry sherbet, pineapple sherbet, orange sherbet, lime sherbet, and mangoes. If you are looking for something sweet, this is definitely the drink you need to try but beware, the sweetness level is definitely off the charts.

4. Açaí Super-Antioxidant

The Açaí Super Antioxidant is slightly different from the bowl. It is composed of Açaí berries, soymilk, a shot of daily vitamin, raspberry sherbet, strawberries, and blueberries. If you don't want the toppings of the bowl then this is the smoothie for you. If you want, you can even add the bananas to it or just keep it how it is!

5. Tropical Kickstart

The Tropical Kickstart is not a smoothie; it is a juice. It is composed of freshly squeezed orange juice and mangoes. It is a great juice to get your day started whether you are waking up at 7:00 am or 3:00 pm!

6. Orange Dream Machine

Have you ever had an orange creamsicle? If so, then you already know exactly what this creamy smoothie tastes like. It is composed of orange juice, soymilk, orange sherbet, and frozen yogurt. If you want to get crazy, substitute the orange juice for freshly squeezed orange juice!

7. Watermelon Breeze

The Watermelon Breeze is a seasonal smoothie so it is only offered for a limited time during the summer. However, if you're on campus, the Jamba Juice here still sells it so come in and give it a try! It is composed of watermelon juice, raspberry sherbet, strawberries, and pineapple.

8. Peanut Butter Banana

The PB Banana is one of the protein smoothies that is offered at Jamba Juice. It is composed of 2% milk, peanut butter, whey protein, honey, and bananas. Whether you are getting it post-workout or just for fun, this smoothie is definitely a good source of protein.

9. Pink Starburst

If your favorite starburst is the pink one, then you'll love this smoothie. It is composed of lemonade, soymilk, raspberry sherbet, frozen yogurt, and strawberries.

10. Strawberry Surf Rider

The Strawberry Surf Rider is really tangy, so if you're a big fan of sour foods, then I recommend you try this one! It is composed of lemonade, lime sherbet, strawberries, and peaches.

11. Peach Pleasure

This is a smoothie that not many people order. I have worked at the Jamba Juice on campus for over a year and I have only made this smoothie about four times; however, this smoothie is one of my favorites. It is composed of peach juice, orange sherbet, peaches, and banana. I like to substitute mangoes in for the bananas so if you would like to try it then go for it!

12. Peach Perfection

The Peach Perfection has a slight tang to it and is a very popular smoothie. It is composed of peach juice, apple-strawberry juice, mangoes, peaches, and strawberries.

13. Red Gummy Bear

Just like the White Gummy, the Red Gummy Bear is also a secret menu smoothie. It is composed of mixed berry juice, soymilk, orange sherbet, pineapple sherbet, lime sherbet, raspberry sherbet, and strawberries. This smoothie is also very sweet, so beware.

14. Chunky Strawberry Bowl

The Chunky Strawberry Bowl is also referred to as the "Nutty Strawberry Bowl" and is composed of soymilk, granola, peanut butter, greek yogurt, strawberries, and bananas. At normal Jamba Juices, the toppings are granola, fresh strawberries, and bananas. At the Jamba Juice on campus, the toppings are just granola and fresh bananas.

15. Pomegranate Pick-Me-Up

The Pomegranate Pick-Me-Up is also a secret menu item. Just like the Peach Pleasure, this smoothie is rarely ever ordered. I have only made it once but I think that this smoothie is pretty underrated. This smoothie is composed of pomegranate juice, mixed berry juice, raspberry sherbet, strawberries, and blueberries.

Hopefully, some of you read this and were encouraged to try these items! All of them are offered at the GCU Jamba Juice so there is no need to go off campus, which is super convenient! If you ever do try them, let me know if you liked it!

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
