14 Times The People Of 'Napoleon Dynamite' Were All Of Us During The Summer

Summertime is a great time. It's arguably the greatest time of year. No more classes, less stress, more sunshine, more opportunities...three months of endless possibility. Napoleon Dynamite and his friends/family know that.

1. That beautiful moment when you finish your last final and it is officially summer

And it's time to roll out.

2. When people ask you what you are planning to do this summer

Because we are free human beings with three months of school-less bliss.

3. And some of those plans include being on the computer all day

Without school, you have time to enjoy the internet without feeling guilty about it.

4. But eventually some of your friends convince you to actually experience the world

Even if it's not the best idea.

5. When you see someone's insane "swimsuit bod"

To quote Macklemore: "Ima go to the beach but I'm not taking my shirt off in public."

6. When you decide to get all "artsy" and try to take photos with your friends

Summer is probably the best time to go out and do some impromptu photo shoots.

7. When your parents make you do chores, even though it's summer

"Mom, I can't go out and feed the llama...I just got out of a stressful school year. It's too much."

8. There's always that intense game of groundies

Or hide and seek, or sardines, or even tag if you're feeling up to it. You're never too old for outdoor games.

9. Of course, there's always the intense heat of the summer that you don't necessarily get during the school year

Gotta stay hydrated.

10. If you're lucky, you get more chances to pick people up from the airport

Pro Tip: Signs are always appreciated.

11. When you complain to your parents about the lack of food in the house in the hopes that they will go to the grocery store

If you're coming back from college, summer should be the time that you don't have to pay for your own food.

12. But you are then forced to take matters into your own hands

Fishing is a summer activity right?

13. Then the disillusionment of the freedom of summer hits

Responsibilities that you have tried desperately to avoid start to pile up.

14. And you realize that you actually need money

...and sometimes you have to be creative. I hear Michael's has some great crafting supplies.

But even then, we love you, Summer.*

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
