The leaves are finally changing and there's a distinct chill in the air. It's finally Fall, the season we have all been waiting for! Time to break out those boots and head to Starbucks for a venti pumpkin spice latte. Don't even try to pretend you don't like them. Though some of us like to claim summer, spring or even winter as our favorite season, there's just no denying that everyone has a thing for autumn. Whether it's our fascination with the way the leaves turn or just our unconditional love for pumpkin pie, we're all ready for a taste of the season we've waited for all year. So, in honor of the first day of Fall, the most common favorite season, well, ever, here are 14 reasons why we all love to love Fall.

1. Crisp Fall air.

2. Sweaters.

Because there's nothing better than a giant cozy sweater hug and it's finally cool enough outside to wear them!

3. Nature's Fall palette is in full bloom.

Words don't do it justice, pictures don't do it justice, there is just no possible way to communicate how beautiful the world is in the fall.

4. Crunchy leaves.

Don't pretend like you don't step on crunchy leaves, too. There's something so satisfying about that crunch.

5. Football.

Time to put on your spirit gear and yell a lot. SKOL Vikes.

6. Halloween.

Costumes are great. Candy is great. Candy is better.

7. Pumpkin spice.

Yes, I will order that pumpkin spice latte. Am I basic? Maybe.

8. Pumpkin pie.

Because that whipped cream deserved its own number, okay?
