It's that time again, when spring break is no more and school becomes an actual thing. Perhaps like me and a few other college kids you started your spring break earlier this week but alas it is over. And for the folks who haven't started yet, enjoy your spring break, cherish it before it's all over (sigh). I just needed to mourn this quick spring break with a few gifs to sum up my feelings of break being over. So here are the 10 things that you go through (well I go through) during this trying time.

1. When it's the last day before break and you know it.

2. And this may be worst than your final days at home when you had to pack up your things and leave.

3. You remember all the homework you didn't do.

4. You cry about all the homework you didn't do.

5. You try to do all the homework you didn't do (can you guess what's coming next?)

6. Basically just giving up because you left too much work at the last minute (procrastination to the max).

7. Feeling a blissful indifference.

8. But you know that blissful indifference will be shattered on Monday morning when classes start.

9. You mourn the lost of break.

10. The sleep.

11. The relaxation.

12. The freedom.

13. Your friends, family and home.

14. And just break in general.

Arguably this probably isn't as bad as coming back to college from summer break. Or perhaps it is because it's much shorter so you feel less well rested compared to the 3-4 months that is summer break for college students. Anyway, no matter what, long or short, I am always mourning the end of breaks and the beginning of college.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
