Every friend group has one: the Fairy Squad Mother. The Fairy Squad Mother is basically the Fairy Godmother from Cinderella, but without the weird restriction on when you have to be back. Your magical job keeps your friend group together, and you do it without needing anyone's approval. Not sure if this is you? It probably is, but keep reading to make sure.

1. You're prepared for any situation.

Did your bestie forget breakfast? You have three different options and you are gonna make her choose one for the most important meal of the day. You probably have a huge purse or bookbag to keep everything situated, and you can Mary Poppins anything from your bag.

2. You get everyone motivated.

Be it for studying or for partying, you get everyone motivated and ready to go. Well, as ready as possible to study. "Let's head up to the library in half an hour" and "Party starts in 15 minutes, let's go!" are common phrases in your vocab. You also end up drumming on the steering wheel while waiting for the last straggler to get into the car (because you're probably the driver). You might have left someone behind too.

3. You're a great listener.

So Dylan told Cole that Brenda said... You've probably heard something like this before. Whenever one of your friends comes to you with an issue, you have an ear or two to lend. (Also I was trying to find that quote from Suite Life of Zack and Cody. Don't judge me.)

4. You care about your friends.

This goes without saying; all of your friends care about your friend group. But here's the thing. You go above and beyond. You will do anything your friends need to reach their potential, all without breaking a sweat. Go you!

5. You've spent more than your fair share as the DD.

It's your job to be the designated driver/walker/everything else, and make sure your girls get home safe. You've taken drinks from your friends when they've had enough, you've walked (ie carried) your friends home and made sure they didn't do things they would regret (like drunk texting their ex).

6. Your friends can count on you to guide them.

This goes back to giving advice, but guiding your friends through life is part of your role. You can be a good example for your friends because you have it figured out (sometimes). Leading by example is the easiest part of your role, since you do it anyways.

7. You stop the fights that are bound to happen.

Let's face it, your friends (and you) will butt heads sometimes. Everyone has different beliefs and levels of stubbornness, it there will be an issue sooner or later. You make sure people work out their issues before the fights break out. However, it might end up feeling like stopping kids from fighting.

8. You play hostess.

Girl's night at your house? Of course, and you brought snacks, your fave movies (or Netflix), and maybe some alcohol. You are the life of this party, even if you are a wallflower at any other party.

9. You have a first aid kit.

This goes with being prepared. Someone is going to get hurt sooner or later, so you might as well be able to fix them up. Your first aid kit is well stocked, and you know how to use everything in it. You go, Glen Coco. 10. You're around when your friends need it.

10. You know how to take care of yourself.

You can't take care of everyone, but forget yourself. You have some form of self care that you use to keep yourself going, so you have enough to give. And if you don't, here's a few: eat healthy, exercise regularly, and get enough sleep. Therapists recommend this for a reason.

11. You're always happy to help.

While you do a lot for your friends, you're generally happy to help out when you can. If one of your girls is having a bad day, you'll do everything you can to cheer her up. But don't forget, you are still your own person and need to help yourself sometimes too.

12. Everyone goes to you for advice.

It could be about their future, about boys, or something else entirely, you are there to give some advice. Just make sure that you have someone who can give you advice too!

13. When your friends see this, they'll tag you.

Don't feel bad if you're the fairy squad mother; you are magical. Your role isn't always easy, but it is so important, and so are you.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
