For anyone that knows what it is like to work in the customer service industry, it can be very ...annoying. There are some days when your patience is really tested. We all think of these things, but cannot vocalize them without risking being fired.

1. When little kids come into the store their parents think, for some reason, that you are their baby sitter. I get paid minimum wage. I need a little more if you want me to watch your rugrats.

2. No, I cannot give you a discount, I barely get one and I spend what feels like my life in this store, why would you get one?

3. I'm sorry but you can't return this. You are past the return policy and you used this item.

4. Sure, I'll go get my manager but he'll say the same thing.

5. Or when you say, "I am the manager, and the answer is the same."

6. No, I did not apply your discount. I didn't know you get one. This is something you have to tell me this.

7. Sure, put that anywhere! I didn't just clean the entire store.

8. Just because the item didn't ring up the first time does not mean it is free. I didn't laugh at that joke the first time I heard it and I am not going to laugh after I heard it 700 times.

9. "How much is this?" Well, there is a price tag on it.

10. Or better yet when they ask how much something is and literally five minutes later, ask again. Do you really think we just ran a sale within those five minutes that would make this cheaper?

11. Working customer service makes you change your mind about having kids 100 times because you see the cutest baby alive and then two seconds later you hope that another family would not bring their children into the store.

12. The worst customers are the ones who say they know you're closing in five minutes but stay an additional 25 because they see other things they want.

13. I don't make company policy, I am just the middle man.
