As a nostalgic graduate and current resident of the town of Vestal, I know about all its charms and traditions. Though on the small side, Vestal is a great town to grow up in and the high school is a wonderful place to get an education. That being said, here are some things all current and former Vestal high school students know to be true.
1. There's not much to do in this town, unless of course you want something to eat
It's good or bad, depending on how hungry you are.
2. Speaking of food, you know that Moe's is the place to be on Monday after school
Also a must for open-campus lunch for those lucky enough to have a car
3. You're painfully aware that front lot parking is everything

4. To follow up, it's sammon field not salmon field

5. Swim unit is awful and keeps getting worse
Walking around with wet hair all day? Thanks, but no thanks.
6. The day before winter break is the absolute best
7. Talent fest is the non-academic highlight of the year
8. The KB is the weird Vestal version of a homecoming dance
9. This sign always makes you giggle
10. The school rivalry with Union Endicott is a constant source of drama
Who could forget the battle of the student sections at each and every sporting event?
11. Commons periods are life
12. Decorating graduation caps was the ultimate expression of your personality
Everyone looked forward to it.
