Nearly 15 years ago, Anne Hathaway rose to fame with her film debut in Disney's "The Princess Diaries." Her comedic and inspiring portrayal of Mia Thermopolis, awkward teen turned royalty, captured the hearts of girls across America. The film, based off of Meg Cabot's book series, was a commercial success and landed a sequel in 2004. Both films have been beloved by fans everywhere, so when news hit last week that "Princess Diaries 3" is in the works, the reaction was somewhere along the lines of:

In honor of the upcoming film, here's a list of 13 things the clumsy, charming princess taught us in the first two movies.

1. No One Can Always Look Perfect

It's unrealistic to think you can always look like you just walked out of a magazine. Sometimes, you just have to rock your natural, frizzy look.

2. The World Does Not Revolve Around You

It's time to stop saying "I" so much, and start thinking about the other seven billion.

3. Some People Don't Change

Princess Mia tries to believe the best of people, but even she realizes that sometimes, people just don't and won't change and choose to remain jerks.

4. No One Can Make You Feel Inferior Without Your Consent

Eleanor Roosevelt said it, Joe reminded Mia, and Mia reminded us that others can only get us down if we let them.

5. Stick Up For Yourself

Don't ever let anyone walk all over you or take you for granted without calling them out on it.

6. It's Good To Believe In Some Old-Fashioned Romance...

Because every princess deserves a happy ever after.

7. ...Although That Romance Might Not Always Be What You Expected

Your first interactions with your prince could be less than charming, but that doesn't mean he's not the one.

8. You Won't Always Have It All Together

Even a princess makes mistakes.

9. Just Because You Can't Dance, Doesn't Mean You Shouldn't

So bust a not-so-flattering move and love it.

10. A Heartfelt Apology Can Go A Long Way

Bonus points if it involves a pizza.

11. Fall For The Nice Guy

Because he is worth it!

12. Courage Is More Than Not Being Afraid

This quote is how you should live life. 'Nuff said.

13. Anything Is Possible

Your dream might not play out exactly according to plan, but if you believe in yourself anything is possible, even miracles.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
