Do you ever find yourself thinking about your next meal more often than not? Everyone seems to judge you based on your eating habits, but you don't see an issue with it. So what if I like to eat two dinners; it's not like I'm hurting anyone in the process. Before I finish my fifth snack for the day, let me introduce 13 struggles that people who are always hungry have.
1. You debate if you should eat before you go to dinner or after.
I don't want to ruin my dinner, but I know I'll be starving up until dinner is served. What if the service is slow at the restaurant? What if the restaurant doesn't have anything that I like? Screw it, I'll just have three dinners.
2. Asking yourself if you're actually hungry or just bored.
Me: Should I eat? I just ate 20 minutes ago.
*goes to the pantry to get Oreos*
3. Wondering how you haven't gained 200 lbs since you eat the same amount of food that a family of five eats.
Thank you fast metabolism for always working when I need you to. Please don't ever slow down because, let's be honest, my eating habits aren't changing any time soon. Don't let me down, metabolism.
4. You never leave the house without food.
What I get hungry in an hour? What if aliens attack Earth? What if the zombie apocalypse happens when I'm out? I need to be prepared. Always.
5. People who don't understand your eating habits look at you funny because they don't understand that you're a very hungry girl that needs food every 20 minutes.
If you could please refrain yourself from staring at me that would be great. I know I just had a slice of cake, but I would appreciate it if you would leave me alone to eat in peace.
6. Your closest friends and family know that you're not PMS-ing, you just need food.
They will probably be annoyed that you're so hangry all the time, but they will always understand your relationship with food.
7. The Snickers commercials speak to you on a spiritual level.
It's no lie that you're definitely not you when you're hungry. Now I want a Snickers...
8. Your friends who forgot their lunch know to call you because you always have two lunches on you.
Even though you hate sharing food, you know how awful it is to go hungry. What are friends for, right?
9. Your doctor advises you to start eating less, but we both know that isn't going to happen anytime soon.
Outside you're nodding your head to agree with her, but on the inside, you know nothing is going to break up you and your favorite snacks.
10. You never turn down an opportunity to go out to eat with friends.
You already know what you're going to eat before you even get to the restaurant. The question is, what are you going to eat after?
11. Your purse is always filled with snacks.
Everyone knows this and helps themselves to your snack collection.
12. You would rather stay home and eat than go to the gym.
The gym does not condone my eating habits and I do not go anywhere that tells me to stop eating.
13. You're always going to be hungry and no one is ever going to change that.
My bond with food cannot be broken. If you can't understand that, then I don't understand you.
