How many times have you been called mom? If it's at least once a week, you may just be the mom of the group. Here are the 13 signs you are the mom of the group!
1. You make sure that your friend's rooms are clean.
Instead of them calling you every other day wondering where all their stuff is, you just clean their entire room, sometimes leaving a detailed list of where you put everything.
2. You ask your friends if they want you to iron their wrinkly shirt.
You can't imagine one of your friends going out in public with a single wrinkle on their clothing. Seeing someone outside of your friends with a wrinkle boosts your self-esteem.
3. You clean and bandage their "battle wounds."
If it is just a little scrape or even a broken arm, you reassure them that a single Band-Aid will fix everything.
4. It's a compliment when someone calls you Mom.
Since being a mom comes naturally (it may be your goal in life), hearing someone call you Mom may actually stoke your ego.
5. You remind everyone to wear their coats when it's cold and sunscreen when it's sunny.
You secretly know that if they don’t put it on now, they will complain endlessly when they’re cold or sunburned.
6. You're constantly making sure your friends bathe.
They honestly forget to shower, so you have to be there to make sure they don’t offend anyone with their smell.
7. You make home-cooked meals in your crock pot.
You take weekly dinner requests and make sure that everyone enjoys every single bite, even if it takes you hours to make.
8. Before anyone leaves a room, you say something like "Text or call me if you need me."
You’re genuinely and constantly worried about your friends' well-being, so a simple reminder that you are always there may come in handy one day.
9. You're willing to drop anything to help a friend.
No matter what is important to you, your friends always come first and you're willing to help with anything they need.
10. You make sure they do their homework, and when they don't, you are disappointed in them.
You just want to make sure they don't fail.
11. When they bring a new boyfriend around, you may or may not interrogate them.
You take it upon yourself to make sure this so-called “boyfriend” is an upstanding citizen. And if he isn’t, you’re not afraid to share your opinion.
12. Your friends come to you when their boyfriend is being an idiot.
Sometimes they need to be reminded that they are being stupid and should drop the idiot.
13. You make lists for everything.
You happen to know exactly when everyone's class schedule, birthday and favorite foods.
