Despite what our public school friends have to say about it, we all secretly love the fact that our private college is religiously affiliated. There are just so many perks that set our little Christian school apart from the others, and there's no denying it. How can you not love the extended breaks for Christian holidays or humming songs from church all day? The answer is you do love it, and anyone who says otherwise is jealous. So, here's a foolproof list of signs that confirm you attend a christian college.

1. If there isn’t a church on campus, then there’s definitely one within a half-mile radius

2. And when you do attend church on Sunday, sweatpants and a hoodie are considered to be appropriate attire.

3. You are blessed before midterms and finals as the last necessary precaution taken to pass.

4. The not allowed to stay over in the opposite sex’s dorm rule is strictly enforced.

5. #blessed is always trending on social media.

6. Getting twice the amount of breaks compared to your public school friends (thank Jesus for Christian holidays, literally).

7. Genuinely kind people do exist?

8. Skipping class becomes 10 times more difficult when your professor knows way too much about you (thank you small class sizes).

9. The girl-to-guy ratio is nowhere near equal.

10. You can spot everyone’s favorite priest eating lunch with students in the cafeteria or participating in on campus events.

11. Constantly asking yourself “what would Jesus do” when faced with a remotely rebellious situation.

12. Once December hits, the competition for whose dorm room is most festively decorated becomes scary.

13. You find yourself constantly thanking God for coffee, finding money for textbooks and passing finals.
