Ah, the Midwest: Home to The Great Lakes, many pro sports teams, The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, lots of food on a stick, crazy traditions, and friendly people. I have been lucky enough to be raised in the Midwest, and I think we are some pretty awesome people. So, why wouldn't you want to date a midwesterner? You would be crazy not to. Here are 13 reasons why you should:
1. We value Family-
In the midwest family is everything. You are close with your family and have loyalty and passion for loved ones, which is better than anything.
2. We can conquer the outdoors.
No matter the season, we can do it all.
3. We know how to have fun anywhere.
4. We are friendly and always smiling!
Ok sometimes we are too friendly, but that's better than being stuck up and mean.
5. We have Cute accents.
Even if you don't want to admit it, we do.
6. We can handle a tough winter.
You don't even know.
7. We know how to have an awesome bonfire.
A fire, smores, hot dogs, beer, music, and awesome people. What else do you need?
8. We take sports seriously.
We don't joke around when it comes to our sports teams, both college and professional.
7. We know how to make the most of a rainy/cold day.
Cuddling by the fire, wearing fuzzy socks and watching some Netflix of course!
8. Everyone wears flannels!
You can't help but love flannels! Especially the soft ones!
9. We enjoy the little things in life.
Sunsets, days on the lake, pretty flowers, and even fuzzy socks.
10. We are always up for an adventure.
The midwest has so many things out there to explore, and we are always up for it, no matter how crazy it might be.
11. We know how to party.

We really do. Nobody can quite keep up with a midwesterner. Plus we can turn just about anything into a party: a tailgate, a bonfire, and even a day at the lake.
12. We can make a mean hot dish.
Once you take a bite of a midwesterner's "Tater Tot Hot Dish" you will understand. And no, it isn't a casserole.
13. We know our music.
We are the home of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame after all. The number of outdoor festivals we host in the summer months is almost uncountable. Plus, the midwest was the home of Prince, enough said.
