It is the time we have all been waiting for, SPRING BREAK.

While many of us are just excited that we do not have to be in school for a whole week, there are a lot of college students who want to go away for spring break, but just don't know where to go. A trip during spring break is something that should definitely be planned out, especially when the trip can become expensive from just the airfare and hotel prices alone. However, if you are a last-minute planner and have the money to plan a trip for this upcoming spring break, here are 13 places you can go to:

1. Miami, Florida

One of the top destination spots for spring break. With the hot weather, clean sand, and blue water, can you really blame anyone for coming here?

2. Cancun, Mexico

Cancun can definitely be a pricey place to visit, but so worth it! Plus the drinking age is only 18, so this is definitely a spot for you college freshmen/sophomores!

3. Las Vegas, Nevada

If you are not really a beach person, and love to drop hundreds of dollars in a casino then Vegas is definitely the place to be!

4. Toronto, Canada

Who says you absolutely have to vacation to somewhere warm for spring break? Toronto is such a beautiful city with so much to do, you'll forget about all of the tropical places that you thought about vacationing to!

5. Myrtle Beach, South Carolina

While Myrtle Beach is not as common of a place to visit for spring break, it is still a place with amazing weather, and so much to do. (I might be a little biased because this is where I'm going for spring break 2017.)

6. Los Angeles, California

I think it's safe to say that anywhere in California is acceptable for an amazing spring break trip.

7. Orlando, Florida

When I hear 'Orlando', the little girl inside of me shines through and automatically thinks of Disney World. Definitely not cheap, but so worth the memories and experience.

8. Punta Cana, Dominican Republic

Just another tropical and beautiful hot spot to visit for this upcoming spring break!

9. Jamaica

Pricey, but worth it. Plus I heard that when you are there, all of the women are treated like they are queens when they visit. It's always nice to feel/be pampered.

10. On a cruise

Who says you can only go to one tropical island for vacation?? Take a cruise and see multiple islands!

11. San Diego, California

Again, it's California. Need I say more?

12. The Bahamas

I think we are starting to see the trend of beaches to visit for this upcoming spring break, but hey no matter what one you pick I can almost guarantee it will be an unforgettable time.

13. Home sweet home

I know most of you were not expecting this to be the last choice of places to go for spring break, but for most it is the best place to go. To be surrounded by the people you love for a whole week sounds like the best vacation yet to me.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
