So, the annual VS fashion show was on last week. If you need a recap, it was pretty much the usual: perfect models wearing perfect underwear on perfectly bronzed, perfectly toned bodies. It was pretty much....perfect.
We all are thinking the same thing--but together we can get through this.
1. The jaw-drop phase.
"WOWZAAAAA."
2. The question phase.
"Why are these girls so perfect?" "Do they eat?" "How is that covering their boobs?"
3. The spontaneous workout phase.
"Situps...GO! 1...2...3...do I have abs yet?"
4. The "it's fine" phase.
"We are all beautiful, in every single way, because words can't bring me down!"
6. The finding ugly qualities on the models phase.

"Everyone has flaws!" (They're just harder to find on some people).
7. The "lesssbihonest" phase.
"I promise I'm not a lesbian. I think."
8. The dieting phase.
"Thank God for juice cleanses."
9. The freak-out phase.
"What am I doing with my life? I'm watching a lingerie fashion show while wearing my bat mitzvah sweatpants!"
10. The pouring another glass of wine stage.
"Some for me...and a little more for me..."
11. The is it over yet phase.
"Alright, we get it, you're all perfect and flawless... someone can fall any time now please."
12. The LOL phase.
"These girls probably don't even make any money! Right?"
13. The "phew" phase.
"It's over! Let's go stuff our faces."
Clearly, watching the VS secret fashion show brings out the best in all of us. We express admiration, we regret everything we ate that day, sometimes we show some serious inner anger. It's the one night a year that girls everywhere sit down and watch a parade of perfect plastic models with fabulous lives walk down the runway.
Despite what you see on TV, however, always remember that no one is perfect. It's the inner beauty that matters most.
