Nail polish is one of the classic ways we express ourselves. It has been around for over 5,000 years, and has been used in class system rankings as well as in fashion, like it is now. Let's take Gigi Hadid's manicure for The Met Ball. It cost $2,000. I didn't accidentally add too many zeros. It really cost $2,000. Nail polish trends come and go between graphic and solid and 3D, but for most of us, the classic solid color is the easiest. Following color trends on WGSN and other news sources, and throwing in my own opinion, here are some of my favorite nail colors for the summer:

1. Lightest pink with a demi-matte.


2. Galaxy nails (in one polish...no hassle)!

3. Bold yellow.

4. Bright white.

5. Cobalt blue.

6. Bubble gum pink.

7. Metallic matte.

8. Neon colors.

9. Teal.


10. Light blue.

11. Deep purple.

12. Soft mid-blue.

13. Shimmery nude.
