Admit it, you're 100% guilty of binge watching episode after episode of Grey's Anatomy. Not only is Greys Anatomy extremely entertaining, but it teaches us many enlightening life lessons along the way. Here's a list of 13 of my personal favorites, maybe you'll recognize some of them yourself!

1. Fight For What You Want

"If there's just one piece of advice I can give you, it's this - when there's something you really want, fight for it, don't give up no matter how hopeless it seems. And when you've lost hope, asking yourself in 10 years from now, you're gonna wish you gave it just one more shot because the best things in life, they don't come free."

2. Don't Be Afraid To Make Choices

"So, do it. Decide. Is this the life you want to live? Is this the person you want to love? Is this the best you can be? Can you be stronger? Kinder? More compassionate? Decide. Breathe in. Breathe out. And decide."

3. Don't Let Fear Stand In Your Way

"Don't stop. Don't hesitate. You can't be scared of what's next. Do not let fear get in your way."

4. When It's Time, Let Go

"I don't know why we all hang on to something we know we're better off letting go of. It's like we're scared to lose what we don't even really have. Some of us say we'd rather have something than absolutely nothing, but the truth is, to have it halfway is harder than not having it at all."

5. Be Grateful

"Maybe being grateful means recognizing what you have for what it is. Appreciating small victories. Admitting the struggle it takes simply to be human. Maybe we're thankful for the familiar things we know. And maybe we're thankful for the things we'll never know. At the end of the day, the fact that we have the courage to still be standing is reason enough to celebrate."

6. Life Happens Without Warning

"We do our very best but, sometimes, it's just not good enough. We buckle our seat belts, we wear a helmet, we stick to the lighted paths. We try to be safe. We try so hard to protect ourselves but it doesn't make a damn bit of difference because when the bad things come, they come out of nowhere. The bad things come suddenly with no warning but we forget, that sometimes that's how the good things come too."

7. The Only Way To Grow Is To Move On

"Letting go is the easy part. It's the moving on that's painful. So sometimes we fight it, trying to keep things the same. Things can't stay the same, though. At some point, you just have to let go, move on; because no matter how painful it is, it's the only way we grow."

8. It's Always Darkest Before The Dawn

"And people can be broken, sure. But any surgeon knows, what's broken can be mended. What's hurt can be healed. That no matter how dark it gets, the sun's going to rise again."

9. You Always Deserve The Best From Others

"You deserve to be with somebody who makes you happy. Somebody who doesn't complicate your life. Somebody who won't hurt you."

10. Live Life To It's Fullest

"At some point, you have to make a decision. Boundaries don't keep other people out. They fence you in. Life is messy, that's how we're made. So, you can waste your life drawing lines, or you can live your life crossing them."

11. It's Okay To Be Scared

"Sometimes it's good to be scared. It means you still have something to lose."

12. Be Strong

"Have some fire. Be unstoppable. Be a force of nature."

13. Some Decisions Hurt

"It's not hard. It's painful, but it's not hard. You know what to do already. If you didn't, you wouldn't be in this much pain."

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
