It's the weekend, FINALLY. Five days of hell are now to be balanced by two days of utter bliss (or so it seems). It's been a long week to say the least, and now you want nothing more than to sit back, relax, and do absolutely nothing.
Of course, you waste no time -- you and your friends hit the town.
So you end up at a party, where your friends drag you onto the dance floor, much to your dismay.
But then it all pays off -- you even develop a new crush from across the room.
However, you slowly come to remember and realize what you'd rather be doing at that moment in time instead.
So you head home and pass out, only to be woken up in the morning by your friend who can't stop gushing about her hookup from last night.
You head back to sleep and sleep for the majority of the day, because, well, it's Saturday...
...only waking up to get dinner. Upon remembering the best dining hall is closed, you take the opportunity to venture off campus.
You return home, bombarded by texts from your friends, asking if you want to go out tonight -- which is the last thing you feel like doing.
But of course, you rally. Just a quick pep talk does the trick.
Come Sunday morning, you're glad you went out. You're actually, dare I say, ready for next weekend.
But, there's still time for that mentality to change. After all, next weekend is five whole days away. Happy waiting!
