To the graduating class of May 2016, you made it. Most of you probably never thought you would make it to see this last semester, but turns out all of those late nights and cups of coffee actually paid off. You will soon be out in the real world and becoming a real life adult who can afford something more than the dollar menu, go you! However, this last semester probably is filling you with a lot of mixed feelings. If this is your last semester of college ever, you'll probably agree to feeling most, if not all, of these emotions.
1. Anxiety about the job search.
The time has finally come to show potential employers how these past four years have paid off. Too bad you can't put waking up 10 minutes before the alarm and still making it to class on time on your resume.
2. Thinking everything is your last time.
Last first day of school ever, last syllabus week, last everything.
3. Wanting to do nothing but hang out with your friends.
After this semester, you'll be parting ways with the friends that have become family these last four years. The thought of this makes you want to spend every waking moment with them until graduation.
4. Taking the full advantage of skipping class and sleeping in.
In the real world, you can't just decide to skip work so you can watch Netflix all day and sleep. Better get in as many days of that as you can this semester!
5. Wanting to spend most of your time at the bar.
Because it's not as socially acceptable to spend Monday-Saturday at the bar in the real world.
6. Spending your money freely while you can.
Student loan debt will be taking over your life shortly after college, so spend those $3 while you have them!
7. Envying the freshmen.
It wasn't long ago that you were the fresh face on campus, trying to make your way to class without getting lost. Seriously, where did the past four years go?
8. Also, wanting to give those freshman all of your wise advice on how to fully experience college.
9. Feeling like your way too old.
When you tell a freshmen you're a senior and all they have to say is "Oh, you're old."
10. Hating anyone who asks if you're ready for the real world.
No, I'm not ready. How do I 401k and budget money every month. Help.
11. Fearing you aren't good enough to land a job.
You can't help but feel overwhelmed when sending out countless resumes and cover letters.
12. Trying to go to any and every event on campus because you won't get to do this next year.
And having major school spirit at each event.
13. Soaking in every moment you get this semester.
Live it up this semester, seniors!
