As a kid, one of your favorite pastimes was probably watching cartoons, and as a '90s baby you had a lot of amazing options. With age, though, those beloved cartoon shows were forgotten and replaced with more grown-up shows or maybe even the cartoons currently being produced. This is a reminder of some of those amazing shows that might leave you feeling nostalgic about great movies between you and your TV.

1. "Little Bear"

"Little Bear" was one of my personal favorites. This show was all about Little Bear's adventures with his many friends from a cat to a human girl, and the time he spent with his family. It was a very calm, cute and fun show that anyone would love.

2. "Franklin the Turtle"

Similar to "Little Bear," "Franklin the Turtle" was also about a young animal, this time a turtle (obviously) and his adventures with his friends and family. Franklin served up a little sass every once in a while as well, making the show that much more entertaining.

3. "Pokemon"

"Pokemon" needs no explanation. Everyone knows about "Pokemon." but you may have forgotten just how amazing it was, and still is, but nothing compares to that first series.

4. "Rolie Polie Olie"

"Rolie Polie Olie" was Disney cartoon about a universe where everyone was yellow. Rolie Polie Olie and his family were, of course, rolie polies that were mostly made of spheres, yet he had a best friend that was made of cubes. This was an interesting show to say the least, but very entertaining and loved as well.

5. "Courage the Cowardly Dog"

"Courage the Cowardly Dog" was a perfect mixture of creepy and funny that was addicting to the viewer. It is still one of the best shows to come from Cartoon Network to date.

6. "Dragon Tales"

Max and Emmy of "Dragon Tales" got to travel to a magical land of dragons every day via an ancient dragon scale randomly found in their playroom. Needless to say, every kid loved this show and hoped they'd find a dragon scale in their room to transport them somewhere magical too.

7. "Maggie and the Ferocious Beast"

Another odd show, "Maggie and the Ferocious Beast" was about Maggie, her friend the pig, a box that seemed to fit anything and contain anything you could think of, and a strange beast with removable spots. They got into all sorts of wild situations and never failed to entertain.

8. "Sailor Moon"

A warrior princess with her band of sailor scouts fighting in the name of the moon and the other planets of the solar system, transforming their outfits whenever trouble was near to do said fighting. She also had a couple of magical talking cats, amazing and the girl always had food on her mind. Very relatable.

9. CatDog

"CatDog" was about the wacky misadventures of a cat and dog connected by birth.

10. "Digimon"

"Digimon" is similar to, but completely different from "Pokemon." Digimon are digital monsters in a digital world that partnered up with human companions via Digivices. Together they saved the digital world as well as the real world from evil digimon and humans alike.

11. "Zoboomafoo"

I'm not even sure what this show was about; all I know is, I loved that lemur and I especially love the title sequence with the two guys calling for Zoboomafoo and him bounding to get them in their tree house. (R.I.P Zoboomafoo)

12. "Blue's Clues"

"Blue's Clues" is a favorite about Blue the dog who left clues for Steve the human to solve her little mysteries. Everyone remembers when Steve left the show and was replaced by some other guy. The show just wasn't the same after that.

13. "Clifford the Big Red Dog"

Literally everyone loves dogs. So a show about a gigantic red dog and several other dogs, what's not to love?

Hopefully, this brought back some wonderful memories of your favorite shows and prompted you to remember some other amazing and beloved shows of your childhood.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
