13 Best Moments Of The Billboard Music Awards

Billboard Music Awards is one the most anticipated award shows of the year (in my opinion). Last night, the wait was finally over, and we got to see our favorite artists perform and get the recognition they deserve. In case you missed it, here's 13 of the best moments of the #BBMAs

1. Vanessa Hudgens rapping like Nicki Minaj.

Just like Ludacris, we were all surprised.

2. Drake's reaction to Vanessa rapping.

Same, honestly.

3. "Closer" getting the recognition it deserved (over and over).

This song will forever be my jam. SO BABY PULL ME CLOSER IN THE BACKSEAT OF YOUR ROVER.

4. Ed Sheeran let us be a part of his concert.

A year without Ed Sheeran was a year too long. "Castle On The Hill" is a BOP.

5. We realized right away that this was Drake's year.

YES DRAKE.

6. But Nicki's reaction to Drake forgetting to say something about her (at first) was the best part of his acceptance speech.

"WHAT ABOUT ME???????!!!!"

7. Miley Cyrus gave an emotional performance of "Malibu".

I cried. You cried. We all cried.

8. Speaking of emotions, Celine Dion celebrated the 20th anniversary of "My Heart Will Go On".

As if "My Heart Will Go On" wasn't emotional enough, they played clips of Jack and Rose.

9. Blake Shelton gave a shout out to his girl Gwen during his speech and melted our hearts.

SO CUTE WE CAN'T EVEN.

10. Lorde made us all want to go out with our friends and karaoke.

If I was performing on the BBMAs, I'd want my lyrics right in front of me, too. Smart move.

11. We also got a collab from John Legend and Florida Georgia Line???

Not sure why or how, but I'm okay with it.

12. Cher performed and received the Billboard Icon Award.


A true legend.

13. And finally, Drake won Top Artist and broke the record for most Billboard Music Awards in a year.

Let's talk about the #Views on stage when his whole squad helped him celebrate.
