12 Times Taylor Swift Gave Me A Pep-talk

"Don't worry. You may think you'll never get over it. But you also thought it would last forever." Boom. What advice tops that? That's right, there is none.

Taylor Swift, one of the biggest pop culture icons in the world, is the epitome of a good role model. She is considered "America's Sweetheart" and has been known to be a good role model since the day she hit the scene in 2006. But the best part about Swift is; these amazingly awesome things don't define her. No, she has so much more to offer the world than that.

Taylor could also be known as a friend to everyone who has ever heard her songs, witnessed her concerts and even listened to an interview of hers. She is the epitome of simple, natural grace. She is elegant without trying, which attributes to her role model status. The special thing about Taylor is that she does not think she is over-the-top special. Taylor is a relatable, down-to-earth girl who often times works advice into songs and interviews making her a friend to all. She has quotes on quotes that would fit perfectly for any dilemma. Here are a personal few favorites of mine

"People like you always want back the love they pushed aside, but people like me are gone forever when you say goodbye."

"Darling I'm a nightmare dressed like a daydream."

"Don't you worry your pretty little mind, people throw rocks at things that shine."

" Baby, I could build a castle out of all the bricks they threw at me."

"The lights are so bright but they never blind me."

"She lost him but she found herself and somehow that changed everything."

"Don't you see the starlight? Don't you dream impossible things?"

"The best people in life are free."

And last but definitely not least...

"I just hope that you will look in the mirror and remind yourself of what you are and what you are not."

Until next time,

XOXO

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.
