College years are an interesting time to be alive. Here are twelve times Parks and Recreation accurately described the life of a college student.

1. You have twelve exams and seven papers due this week. The only valid solution is to stress eat your weight in sugar.

2. Getting home from a long day of has you like.

3. You've been working on the same paper for six hours without pee breaks and you're so done that you're about ready to pull a Ron Swanson.

4. Acing that homework assignment and feeling good. You walk up to your friends like this.

5. You go to the dining hall with high hopes...

6. We've all had that one kid in class who thinks he knows everything and never shuts the hell up.

7. Some people just party a little too hard.

8. No caption necessary.

9. You zone out for two minutes in class and suddenly you have no idea what's going on. The professor has gone from talking about the history of Asia to the history of Slinkys.

10. Who doesn't love a good spur-of-the-moment, impulsive decision. April and Andy's marriage worked out just fine.

11. Going into finals week like.

11. In the midst of finals week.

12. AFTER FINALS WEEK!!!

So I think that just about settles it...Parks and Rec is the show most applicable to daily life.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
