One of my all time favorite television shows is NBC's "Parenthood". The Bravermans felt like family to me and, even though the show ended a year ago, I still love to binge-watch the series on Netflix. One of the greatest aspects about "Parenthood" was the show's ability to cause the viewers to feel such a wide variety of emotions during the six years it was on NBC. In fact, 'Parenthood' is famous for making fans bawl one minute and laugh the next. While there were plenty of hilarious moments throughout the show, I wanted to compose a list of the most gut-wrenching, heartbreaking scenes. Here are my top 11 saddest moments on 'Parenthood':

1. Max being bullied during his camping trip.

We saw several occasions where Max endured bullying, but this one stung a little more. It was the first time we really saw Max break down in tears.

2. Drew breaking down after Amy has the abortion.

Drew got his girlfriend, Amy, pregnant and she decided to get an abortion. Drew showed support for her, but disagreed with the decision and later broke down in his mother's arms.

3. Adam watching the goodbye video Kristina made for her family,

Hearing Kristina say goodbye to her children and husband broke hearts around the nation.

4. Zoe backing out of the adoption.

Julia's heart was broken when she realized she would not be taking home the baby boy she had been planning to adopt.

5.Drew realizing his Dad isn't coming around.

Drew held out hope that his Dad would change and be able to take care of him, so it was emotional to see him finally realize that Seth just wasn't capable yet.

6. Kristina's entire cancer battle.

Kristina's battle with breast cancer was tough to watch for everybody and definitely caused many tears.

7. Sarah wanting a baby with Mark, but afraid of waiting.

Sarah realized that the age difference between her and Mark was too much, especially when they wanted a baby.

8. Amber going off on Seth.

After years of being unreliable, Amber had a hard time believing her father could change.

9. Kristina and Adam telling Max he has Asperger's.

I think this scene was more emotional for Adam and Kristina than it was for Max, but it was difficult seeing the parents struggle to tell their son that he has autism.

10. Zeek talking to Amber after her car accident.

After Amber was in a car accident that was the result of reckless behavior, Zeek let his granddaughter know just how her actions affected him. I think he really left her with something to think about.

11. Zeek passing away.

The heart of the Braverman family passing away was like losing a member of my own family. I still shed tears when watching the episode.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
