12 Thoughts UCF Students Had During Hurricane Matthew
Vox

Hurricane Matthew has swept through the southeastern United States after making a huge impact on Haiti and Cuba. After devastating both countries, Matthew was expected to be one of the most dangerous hurricanes to hit Florida in years. Despite the media hype to get the heck out of Dodge, many Floridians had other thoughts:

1. How much booze do I need to stock up on?

2. UCF better cancel classes this time.

Although students had to wait until Wednesday afternoon, when the decision was finally made to cancel classes, a silent cheer filled the UCF area no doubt.

3. Publix will stay open. Right?

7. What a perfect time for Netflix and Chill.

8. This is two days I can't make it to the gym, how sad

9. I should probably get more booze.

10. No way I'm evacuating because look at I4!

11. Happy Hour will still go on!

12. Told you we didn't have to evacuate.

Although UCF students are very resilient, it is safe to say that we are very lucky Matthew did not hit us as hard as was expected.

Epic Creation Myths: Norse Origins Unveiled

What happened in the beginning, and how the heavens were set in motion.

The Norse Creation Myth

Now, I have the everlasting joy of explaining the Norse creation myth. To be honest, it can be a bit kooky, so talking about it is always fun. The entire cosmos is included in this creation myth, not just the earth but the sun and the moon as well. This will be a short retelling, a summary of the creation myth, somewhat like I did with Hermod's ride to Hel.
