Thanksgiving is without a doubt one of my favorite holidays. This is probably due to the fact that its centered on food, family, and friends, AKA my favorite things. In light of the great holiday coming up, here are a few Thanksgiving thoughts that everyone has. Happy ThanksGIFing to all!

1. You are so ready to eat 10 pounds of food

2. Because there is literally a feast of so many foods. You name it, and it will be there

3. Every year you wonder why there are no Thanksgiving songs, or movies for that matter

4. You know turkey is obviously the best part of the meal

5. But wait, you must not forget how great stuffing is

6. Your family members get annoyed with how extra you are about Thanksgiving

7. When someone else eats the last breadstick

8. You feel so thankful for your family and friends

9. When you had one job to help out with family dinner

10. When someone tries to be a Thanksgiving party pooper

11. Struggling through the aftermath of Thanksgiving

12. You're just ready for it to be Thanksgiving right this very second

I hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving, and eats lots of mashed potatoes!

Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
