While going away to college and being independent is the greatest thing to happen to a young adult, by the time finals come around most of us can’t wait to be home. But what happens when we actually do get home? These are the thoughts every college student has during their first week back home.


1. “YAY, I’M HOME! I CAN FINALLY RELAX!”

2. “Ugh, I have to unpack… How did I even fit all of this stuff before?”

3. “I’m going to redo my whole entire room.”

4. “I finally get to see all my friends from home!"

5. “I’m so happy to see my mom."

6. *finally getting to sleep in*

7. “I’m getting bored…”

8. “I miss my college friends."

9. “Wait, so I have to be home by 1 a.m. now. I didn’t have this rule a week ago…”

10. “My family is driving me crazy."

11. “I’d rather write three papers than go back to working 30+ hours a week."
