It's that time of the year again. It's time for the sweaters, the blankets, the bonfires, pumpkin spice everything, and lots of fall leaves and colors. Wait what? It's not even September yet. Fall does not start for another month.
However, it is the time of the year where school starts back up again. From the little ones going to preschool to the college kids moving into their dorms, this is the time of year everyone kisses goodbye to their freedom and free time. This is the time of year to get refocused and back into the dreaded school routine of waking up early and staying up late; cramming for tests and quizzes while drowning in homework.
On the bright side, going back to school means reconnecting with the friends you promised to see over the summer. A new school year means new friends, new classes, and a fresh start. So, here's twelve thoughts that almost every student experiences in their last few days of summer vacation.
1. It's been a good summer. RIP Summer 2016...
3. Does my first day outfit look nice? What should I wear?
6. Is it Friday yet?
7. What are tests? What is life?
8. I need coffee, and I need it now!
9. How many days are there until summer vacation? Winter break?
10. When will I ever use this in real life?
11. Is it lunch time yet?
12. I need a nap. I'm tired...
I hope you all have a wonderful, successful, and productive school year. Stay positive, stay happy, and stay well!
