Somewhere along the way you end up giving things a try and all of a sudden you realize you've made one of the better decisions in your life: You began dating your best friend. Here are the simple truths as to why dating your best friend makes the relationship a little more special.

1. They are undoubtedly the weirdest person you know, and it is great!

Nothing in the relationship is off limits and you can always be yourself.

2. Shameless pigging out with them.

3. The handshakes.

4. You always have something to talk about with them.

5. Ugly singing at anytime.

The fact that he can actually sing and you cant doesn't make it any less ugly.

6. Even uglier dancing.

7. Just like you can read your girlfriends' minds, you two get each other just as well.

8. Making fun of each other more than you're nice to each other.

It's OK, you love them just as much either way.

9. You know you already have the best date to every function.

10. As your best friend, they are always there to cheer you on and inspire you to be the best you can be.

11. Your lingo becomes theirs and vice versa.

12. As much as they're your best friend, you're beyond blessed to have them as your boyfriend and you love them even more for it.
