Say good-bye to crazy ex-boyfriends, flaky friends, and start focusing on yourself.

1. Thinking that you won't succeed

You're going to mess up, you're going to fail a test or a paper. That doesn't mean you're a failure, so let go of that feeling and move on.

2. Hooking up with a guy that doesn't appreciate you

He may tell you that you're "his girl" or that he loves you, but chances are if he's not committing than he's just using you. You deserve so much better! Move on from that guy with the rock hard abs, and find someone that loves you for you and cares about more than your bedroom.

3. Thinking that you need to look like Barbie

Let's be real, you will never look like a Kardashian or a Jenner. You are you, and those unrealistic, photoshopped people are not who you should be.

4. Being obsessed with getting into a relationship

Being single is NOT a bad thing. You don't need a boyfriend/girlfriend to be happy! Let go of the idea that you need to be in relationship after relationship.

5. That guy who likes to snapchat you at 2 a.m. for a late night booty-call

Even though he's hot, he's not ever going to take your relationship serious. Let go of being the late night booty-call and stop answering him!

6. Stalking people on Instagram

I often find myself scrolling through my news feed and stalking people on Instagram or Facebook and then realize i've been stalking for an hour and I'm 126 weeks deep in their page. This is not healthy! Put your energy to something else and put the past behind you! You don't need to know what everyone from High School is doing every minute of the day!

7. The constant worry of if people like you or not

Not everyone is going to like you, you're not pizza! So let go of the idea that everyone needs to like you because you will soon realize that that is not possible.

8. Thinking it's not acceptable to stay in on a Friday or Saturday night

Eating ice cream and watching Grey's Anatomy is sometimes a lot better than making 200 second long snapchat stories and dropping a lot of cash on drinks that are completely watered down. Let go of the idea that you're a loser if you skip a weekend of partying.

9. Hating your body

Stop being so negative and hard on yourself. Everyone has things about themselves that they don't like. Let that go and start loving your body. I guarantee the things you're self-conscious about are things that only you notice.

10. Settling for anything

DON'T SETTLE. You are worth more than a drug dealer boyfriend, your miserable job, and that terrible salad. Stop thinking that you can't do better, you can!

11. That friend that only needs you when she breaks up with her boyfriend

My mom used to tell me that if you can count your friends on one hand, than you're set for life. Don't waste your time and energy on people that only are friends with you when they need something. Let go of those people that aren't there for you.

12. Your mistakes

I make mistakes every day of my life. I mess up a lot. You'll never learn anything if you don't make mistakes, so make them often, and have no regrets!

Move On.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
