2015 is over and done. It’s 2016 now, but we can’t forget all of the things that happened last year. It was a crazy year with many ups and downs. Here are a few things that happened last year during each month.
January: Eleven people are killed in the Charlie Hebdo shooting in Paris.
February: It is revealed that Brian Williams had lied about events that happened when he was covering the 2003 Iraq War.
March: Zayn Malik leaves One Direction to “be a normal 22-year-old.” OK, Zayn…
April: Madonna kisses Drake at Coachella.
May: Princess Charlotte of Cambridge is born.
June: The U.S. Supreme Court legalizes same-sex marriage nationwide.
July: Debris from the Malaysian Airlines Flight 370 that went missing in March of 2014 is found on the French island of Réunion.
August: Mark Zuckerberg announces that one billion people logged onto Facebook in one day.
September: NASA discovers liquid water on Mars.
October: "Back to the Future" Day finally arrives on the 21st.
November: Around 130 people were killed during the Paris terrorist attacks.
December: SpaceX successfully land the first reusable rocket to enter orbital space and return.
2015 was a big year. A lot happened, both good and bad. Here’s to hoping that 2016 brings a lot more good than bad.
