12 Things That Annoy You On A Daily Basis

Everyday has its good times but there are always a few things that annoy me, things that probably annoy the average everyday person. These things start from the moment you wake up until the moment you go to sleep. Some things will only last in their annoyance for a few seconds and some could ruin your whole day. Honestly, that is life. But here are some of the things we all deal with that annoyance.

1. Waking up in a cold room.

When our alarm goes off in the morning, chances are we are super comfortable in our bed, under our blankets all comfy cozy and warm. But even though it is becoming spring, the nights are still cold, but we don't always put the heat on when we sleeping. The cold air creeps in and it makes you want to stay in your bed.

2. You don't make it to breakfast on time.

Sometimes breakfast can be very yummy, especially the omelets. But sometimes you don't make it to the dining hall on time and all the breakfast is gone, and the omelets aren't being made anymore, so your stuck on only drinking coffee until you have time for lunch, which makes for a very Hangry person.

3. The lovely unpredictable weather.

I sometimes put on an outfit, maybe change it once or twice then I finally settle on an outfit and think I look really cute. Then once I go outside its either too hot or too cold for what I am wearing, sometimes it's raining, then it just annoys me because I feel like my outfit won't flow with the day.

4. You almost make it to the 15-minute rule.

Sometimes your professor is a little late, but if they are more than 15 minutes late you get to leave! That is awesome right?! Yes! But it is pretty annoying when you are on the 13 or 14 minutes out of the 15 minutes and your professor shows up, and your hopes of getting out of class are gone and you have to sit through an hour of class.

5. Drama.

Every day especially at a small school, there is drama, which is unfortunate. Sometimes its is within your own friend group or other friend groups around the school, and not matter what you are somewhat involved in it, you either witnessed it or apart of it.

6. Your phone battery is slowly dropping.

You charge your phone all night, so it is ready for your day. However, sometimes it will not last you all day, and sometimes you won't always be able to charge it. Whether you are in class, out and about, no one likes a phone with a dead battery, and most people get anxiety when their phone gets to 10% and we still can't charge it.

7. When you think you have money.

As college kids, we are basically poor, a lot of us aren't working, and if we are it is limited hours because school is more important. Then Friday night comes around and your squad wants to go out, and you check your bank account. When you realize that it is a lot lower than you thought, you have to budget yourself find someway to get more money.

8. Your friends are gone.

Sometimes in college, you only have a few friends, that's even the same in high school. But in college, it is a little different because you and all your friends primarily live on campus. Sometimes your friends are off campus doing some other activity or are in class. If all your friends are off campus, at home or in class, it sucks because you are all alone

.

9. The loud gum chewer

I am not going to lie, I am addicted to gum, I chew it all the time. But every once in a while there is that loud obnoxious gum chewer that sits next to you in class, and all you want to do it pull that gum out of their months, so you can get peace and quiet during the lecture.

10. It laundry time and there is no washers open.

The laundry rooms on the floors only have a certain number of washers and dryers, and sometimes your laundry hamper is overflowing with dirty clothes and you have to wash them, and nothing is free for you to use.

11. When you get a text message from someone you don't want to talk to.

We all get multiple text messages day, but sometimes you get a random text from someone you don't want to talk to so you ignore them but they will repeatedly text you and that annoying. Unless it is someone important like your parents or siblings or best friends or boyfriend/girlfriend you could possibly not really care who else tests you.

12. Slow WiFi

Let's face it we spend hours a day on our computers and phones, and when the WiFi is not working, as usual, its pretty annoying. The even more annoying thing is when it is completely down and you can't do anything on your computer and you get bored and don't know what to do with your life.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
