There comes a time in a person's life where they realize they need some sort of income. For many of us, we ended up finding a job in retail. Helping people dress fashionable makes you feel very accomplished inside; owever, you will quickly discover the struggles of working in retail.
1. When you greet the customer and they ignore you.
2. When that table you spent 20 minutes folding to perfection is destroyed the second you walk away.
3. When the customer insists that we have the item they want out back.
"Can you check out back for this?"
"Everything we have is out"
"But, can you check anyway?"
4. When customers complain about how expensive it is.
Can you not?
5. When a fitting room is full of clothes.
I didn't see anything.
6. Being blamed for the customers' inability to read signs.
No, that's actually not on sale.
7. When a customer tries to return something that has clearly been worn or washed.
Sorry, try again later.
8. When a customer return items without a receipt, and you can only give them a store credit.
9. When a customer stops you as you're leaving for break.
10. When the same songs repeat eight times in one shift.
Make it stop.
11. When a customer asks to speak to the manager because they think they'll get a better answer.
Sorry, not happening.
12. When a customer walks in two minutes before closing.
Please leave now.
