The daily life of a college student can sometimes be crazy. Between classes, labs, homework, internships, part time jobs, sports and extracurricular activities 24 hours in a day just aren't enough for you to function. Here's to the crazy ones, who live their lives scheduled minute to scheduled minute and somehow still are functioning members of society.

1. You have so many to-do lists.

They have headings like, "Get this stuff done now!" and "All the things I need to do!" They come in the form of word documents, post-its, planners and random scraps of paper stuffed into backpacks.

2. You will go a whole day without eating, simply because you were too busy and forgot.

And at 10 p.m. you have this realization that you haven't had a meal, and you still have too much to do to eat.

3. You also lose track of time.

Is it 2 a.m., 3 p.m. or 8 p.m.? I don't even know, all time has begun to run together in an endless stream of scheduled hell.

4. Sometimes you live in the library.

You actually consider bringing your blanket and pillow and just officially moving in.

5. Other times you're running from meeting to meeting.

Professor's office hours are at 4 p.m. and the floor meeting is at 6 p.m.

6. You act a little crazy.

Your roommates and friends are slightly concerned for your mental health, but you know that it's just how you are.

7. Sleep becomes a thing of the past.

Getting 8-10 hours just isn't even a consideration anymore, and you're very well acquainted with the early hours of the morning.

8. You've got so many things running through your mind that it actually seems like you're staring off into space.

People try to talk to you and you're just so focused on all the things you've got to do that you aren't even registering what they're saying.

9. You run purely on coffee and adrenaline.

If someone tries to keep you away from your caffeine, then they're taking their life into their own hands.

10. Constantly having a thousand things open on your computer.

Several email accounts, Facebook, two to three word documents, a half finished PowerPoint, Google Drive...

11. Your calendar is essentially just blocks of color.

With no white space in between.

12. When it comes down to it, you're a pro at multitasking.

In fact, how you manage to function in your life is an enigma to most people, but hey, you make it work.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
