We all know a person who can't stand to be alone. They either are always with friends or have a boyfriend. For some that might be the case, that is just who they are. On the other hand, some of us are okay with being alone and might have become too comfortable with it. Here are signs that you are too comfortable with being single.
.) You don't mind in staying on a weekend to catch up on your t.v. shows or read. You don't call up random friends to see what their doing even though you do enjoy spontaneous adventures.
.) You're happy for your friends' and family members' new milestones of getting engaged, buying a home, and have kids of their own, but it's something you don't want at the time or any time soon.
.) You're perfectly okay with being a third wheel with other couples and it doesn't make you feel awkward one bit.
.) The thought of having a boyfriend doesn't even appeal to you anymore. Anytime a guy messages you, you ignore it.
.) When someone asks you about why you're not in a relationship, you flat up tell them why. You're not afraid of being alone in a couple filled world.
.) You're perfectly okay with shopping and dining out by yourself.
.) When people think something’s wrong with you because you’re still single, you conclude that there’s something wrong with them.
.) You're not bitter towards previously failed relationships that you've had in the past. You actually thank them for what they have taught you.
.) You might have plans to find "the one" but you don't feel pressured to find that anytime soon.
.) You're perfectly happy and comfortable where you are right now. Shouldn't that matter? You wish people would stop asking.
.) Even if you find a guy that you actually like, you find plenty of reasons why not to continue things with him.
.) You're too used to your single ways. You enjoy having a bed to yourself and not having to worry where we'll go out to eat next. You're okay with paying for what you want. yourself. Also making accommodations for a relationships annoys you and you feel like you're losing more than your gaining.
Here's to all my people who are way too comfortable being single. You've been single for so long that you have adapted your life around it. You might even see yourself so good at it, you don't picture yourself going back to the relationship life. Being professionally single sure has it perks, but are you too good at it and actually hurting your chances of finding love? That is up to you.
