The semester is in full swing, with those pesky midterms and papers bringing college students ever closer to complete breakdowns with a trash can full of used kleenexes. It's okay. We've all been there.

If you're feeling particularly stressed, I've compiled a list of bingeable shows to take your mind off those looming exams.

1. The Middle

This feel-good sit-com on ABC began it's 8th and final season on October 3rd. Take your mind off midterms to watch the Hecks do life in the small town of Orson Indiana!

2. American Horror Story

Did I mention they have five seasons on Netflix? If you thought midterms are scary, you're in for a surprise with this show!

3. Game of Thrones

Available for streaming on HBO GO, this show serves as a reminder that winter is coming. Yes. The semester will be over soon.

4. Friends

Binge this classic show on Netflix if you want to maximize your TV time after a study session. Episodes last only 20-25 minutes! Plus, you'll finally be able to understand all those pop culture references about the Friends characters.

5. Stranger Things

Season 2 of this popular show is available for streaming October 27th on Netflix. Watch these kids battle their own monster and then tackle your own with a paper and pencil.

6. Criminal Minds

Learn about high-profile criminals to anticipate their next moves and use that information to profile your own professor to anticipate those questions on your next exam.

7. Bones

While it may seem like you'll turn into a skeleton by the end of midterm week, this show will help you learn there's more to a pile of bones than you think.

8. Psych

If you're looking to take a break from studying, this show is for you. With a bit of detective work, humor, and romance, Psych has it all.

9. Grey's Anatomy

On the pre-med track? Binge this classic show to learn the truth about what your profession is like in the real world.

10. Westworld

Is it possible to create a host that will take your midterm for you?

11. Law and Order: Special Victims Unit

This show has been on TV for 19 years and still proves successful. You've probably been alive for longer than that, so you can succeed too.

While your midterms may seem daunting at first, with a little studying and learning from your favorite shows, you will be prepared to rock those exams.

I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating.
