Being a freshman in high school isn't something most look forward to, but trust me, being a freshman in college will be the best year of your life. New people, new environment, new everything! Now that I have finished my freshman year, I look back on all of the crazy memories and wish I could relive every moment.

1. It is totally fine to be clueless.

2. Gaining weight is a tiny bit more acceptable.

3. Partying all the time is so new and exciting.

4. You don't need to be sure of your major yet.

5. You get to pledge a fraternity/sorority.

6. Your classes aren't specifically toward your major.

7. Your first tailgate is a magical experience.

8. It is socially more acceptable to be more immature at parties.

9. You get to live in a dorm with all of your friends.

10. Getting lost on campus is always an adventure.

11. It is your first year with no parental supervision.

12. You make new best friends.

13. Your parents will answer every FaceTime.

14. You will get to participate in crazy philanthropies.

15. You will receive gift baskets for every holiday from your parents.

16. You will have your first lecture hall experience.

17. All the high schoolers will think you are cool because of your social media pictures.

18. The memories you make will last a lifetime.
