Man's best friend, Gods gift to humanity, cuteness incarnate, pure unadulterated love. Whatever you want to call them, dogs are the best. If anyone tries to tell you otherwise, just show them this and then show them on their merry way. Or if your dog just tore up a couch cushion and you need a reminder why you love them so much, here are some reasons, among millions, why dogs are the best (and far superior to cats, but that's an article for another day).

1. They are cute.

His ear is flapping and if that's not cute I don't know what is.

2. They are cuddly.

All they want is to be held and pet (unless they want food).

3. They have a sense of humor.

Look at that sass.

4. They comfort you when you are sad.

There are actually studies that show that "dogs may empathize with humans more than any other animal, including humans themselves," according to Discovery News. The best friend you can have can't even do what a dog can.

5. They are almost always excited to see you.

They wiggle and jump until they get the attention they rightly deserve.

6. And if they're not, it's cute anyways.

It's just like you, getting up for work, but in dog-world. It doesn't stay that way for long, soon they'll wander up and look for someone to love them.

7. Puppies.

Enough said.

8. They're intelligent.

They watch and learn so they can be just like you.

9. Sometimes...

But hey, this is pretty adorable.

10. They know when they have done something wrong.

They know they are guilty and will give you puppy eyes until you break down and forgive them.

11. And will apologize.

With hugs and kisses.

12. And they're pretty darn talented.

I know many people who can't catch a ball with their own hands and he's doing it with paws.

Bless their souls.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
