It can be hard to find the right words sometimes... Thankfully we live in a well-documented world, and there are plenty of other people who have been able to find those words. If you find yourself needing a little inspiration, quotes are always a great place to start. Here are twelve quotes to get you started:

1. "Sometimes less is more."

We've all heard it a million times... and somehow we still manage to think that more is better. In some cases, like when it comes to desserts, more may be better, but whenever you find yourself overwhelmed, remember simplicity is key.

2. "Be happy in the moment, that's enough. Each moment is all we need, not more." -Mother Teresa

Too often we are waiting for something to happen or a certain adventure we have planned in the near future. Take a moment and just live in the moment. Soak it up for all its worth, and learn to cherish every moment of every day.

3. "What makes you different or weird- that's your strength." -Meryl Streep

Forget trends... What do you like? What makes you stand out?

4. "Experience is a brutal teacher, but you learn. My God, do you learn." -C.S. Lewis

Everyday we are given new opportunities, and it is from these opportunities that we grow, learn, and discover who we are.

5. Self-confidence is a super power. Once you start to believe in yourself, magic starts happening.

Self-doubt kills a lot of dreams. Believe in yourself and incredible things can happen.

6. "I don't like to gamble, but if there is one thing I'm willing to bet on, it's myself." Beyoncé

If Beyoncé said it, then it must be true right? Know that you are capable of so much more than you believe, and carry that strength with you throughout your journey.

7. "Don't feel stupid if you don't like what everyone else pretends to love." -Emma Watson

Be bold. Be different. Go against the current. You know yourself better than anyone else.

8. "The key to being happy is knowing you have the power to choose what to accept and what to let go." -Dodinsky

You create your own happiness. Don't spend your energy on things that don't your soul happy!

9. "Two things define you: your patience when you have nothing, and your attitude when you have everything."

Work hard, and be humble.

10. "Love yourself- without your flaws you wouldn't be you."

It's those little things that make you special and stand out from the crowd. Rock them, and no one can use them against you.

11. "My wish for you is that you continue. Continue to be who you are, to astonish a mean world with your acts of kindness." -Maya Angelou

Continue to grow is every aspect of your life. We never fully reach our true potential because there is always something for us to work on and master.

12. "The secret of change is to focus all of your energy, not on fighting the old, but building the new." Socrates

Don't get hung up on the past. Look to the future.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
