For the past two years, I've worked in either service or hospitality jobs where you kind of get used to people treating you as less than human. Personally, the best part of starting a new job for me is seeing just how long it takes for the boss in charge to actually learn my name, which surprisingly takes about a full month. I know my name is a little odd, since it's spelled differently ("an 'i' in Andrea??"), but apparently it really stumps my superiors, as you can see from the list below of all the names my bosses have called me that aren't my actual name.
Andrea
Okay, I understand this one, I guess.
Adriana
This one is pretty close, just a little scrambled.
Ariana
Getting a little colder...
Angie
I'm sorry, who?
Angelica/Angelina
Now this is a completely different person.
Anjalie
I'm not sure they even really listen when I say my name anymore.
Ondria
I'm not even 100% sure this is a name.
ADRIA
I'm definitely sure this ISN'T a name (at least, it's definitely not MINE).
Amanda
Um, idk her.
Adrian
I've gotten this one a few times, which is upsetting as it is a male name.
