For those of you who have no clue what you stumbled across, Tina Belcher is the poster child for everything and anything awkward in "Bob's Burgers." She's totally my queen. I'm totally not obsessed with this show, or anything... Over the past few years, she has taught us many valuable life lessons that we can take away with us.
1. We’re smart, strong, sensual women.
We can handle everything life throws at us, from a bad test grade to a zombie apocalypse. We don't need no man.
2. It's crucial to think critically.
How else would we come up with insanely awesome ideas like Chinese food burritos?
3. It's necessary sometimes to stick up for yourself.
Whether you have a toxic friend or an evil ex, sometimes you have to have the guts to be your own best friend. You have to be your own cheerleader, and believe in yourself enough to stand up for the person you know you are.4. You have to go for it.
If you truly want something in life, whether it be your dream job, to lose weight or to do the opposite and conquer that Taco Bell 12-pack all by yourself; you cannot give up. That's not what smart, strong, sensual women do.
5. We're not perfect, and that's okay.
It's just as important to recognize that we aren't perfect, and that we do make mistakes. It's just as important be honest with yourself and others, and own up to these mistakes. After all we're not heroes; I have the Tina t-shirt to prove it.
6. You have to stay motivated.
Whether you're secretly working on the next "50 Shades," or training to become a real-life Batman, it's necessary to keep working at it.
7. It's great to express yourself.
You can draw, paint, dance or sing; you can even write semi-decent, pretty lame articles like I do. The possibilities are endless.
8. It's cool to try new things.
Getting out of your comfort zone is a huge part of life, so be like Tina and go for that weird school dance threesome.9. Independence is key.
At the end of the day, you're the one you can count on the most, so it's necessary to find the strength to stand on your own, take charge and eat that whole damn pizza by yourself.
10. Honesty will get you far.
Once you have the reputation of a liar, no one will stand up for that. It's wiser to always be upfront, even if it ends up hurting someone at first. You will end up being more respected and appreciated for that rather than for dishonesty.
11. Life is sometimes a team effort.
12. Knowing what you want is essential.
It's how we are able to move forward to bigger and better things, like bigger and better butts.
