Is there anything better than waking up on a lazy morning and scrolling through your Instagram feed while the light streams in through the windows? Is there anything better than when your Instagram feed is full of beautiful photos that immediately put you at peace? Answer: nope. Here are 12 Instagrams to follow today and smile at tomorrow.

1. @birgittetheresa

Copenhagen, coffee, fresh flowers and the most aesthetically pleasing flatlays you have ever seen. What more could you possibly want?

2. @signebay

If Good Housekeeping was trendy and targeted millennials with a love of cool-colored gray scales, this would be their Instagram feed. Try as we might, our photos of brunch spreads and pond water will never have this much finesse.

3. @londoncoffeeshops

Nothing brightens my morning like drinking a coffee while gazing longingly at the more beautiful places I could be drinking a coffee. Thank you, @londoncoffeeshops, for making sure my caffeine habit was #InstaWorthy during my study abroad in London.

4. @prettyflatlays

A recent offshoot of @londoncoffeeshops, this curated page showcases some of the best "flatlays" from every corner of Instagram. Does Merriam Webster take suggestions for word of the year? Because if so, I am submitting flatlay as my nominee!

5. @_justynaniko_

A florist from Poland with a keen eye for color and composition. My bank account is screaming at me after my continued purchasing of hydrangeas as a result of @_justynaniko_.

6. @snowflakesfairy

Simply the most picturesque England and dream-like London snaps you have ever seen, with the most adorable daughter/model. Also, keep a look out for Jessica's travel features! Wanderlust activated!

7. @piperwinston

A new mom from Vancouver, you can expect baby photos interspersed with vacation snaps and interiors that are the ultimate #HomeGoals. Canada is looking better and better every day. (And the fiancé is pretty cute too.)

8. @thepinkdiary

Who knew white sheets and healthy food could look so good? The Instagram I have been following since before I knew what an aesthetic was. Also, peonies!

9. @foldedpagesdistillery

Book reviews with intricately themed flatlays? Did someone look into my secret dream-board and create the perfect niche Instagram? Looks like it! (The "Harry Potter" post in itself is enough for me to be saying "I love you.")

10. @thefirstbite

The ultimate "Don't eat yet, I have to take a picture!" Instagram account. I don't know how you can have such restraint, but thank you. This is perfection.

11. @lichipan

Architecture, food, travel, interiors, floral arrangements—a little bit of everything all beautifully presented and curated. More of Li-Chi Pan's creative and personal endeavors can be found on her blog.

12. @embarktogether

With everything from desks that make your office look like a bomb shelter to the ultimate #BrunchGoals, this feed is full of flatlays that will have you whispering "Yas Queen" under your breath as you make your morning commute.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
