If these items are not in your fall wardrobe and you're a lazy dresser like I am, there you go! I just gave you a reason for your next shopping spree.
Sweaters.
Is there any item more obvious than the beloved sweater? They're warm, cute, easy to accessorize (if you're feeling ambitious), and versatile. They're so great because you look adorable, but jokes on everybody, because it feels like you're wearing a blanket.
Scarves.
There are infinite (ha, see what I did there) options for scarf wearing. They're the perfect complement to every outfit, and make you look effortlessly flawless and fall-chic. What more perfect accessory is there? The only correct answer: none.
Leggings
Perfect for bumming around on the weekends, perfect for tucking into boots with a sweater, perfect for wearing under jeans on a really cold day. They're stylish and they feel like pajamas. They're the ideal pants.
Riding Boots.
They crunch leaves perfectly, and make you look easily put together. You can wear fuzzy socks with them, and they're flattering on every body type and every outfit. They might be "basic," but that's just a testament to how much of a fall wardrobe staple they are.
Uggs.
Uggs get a bad rep. But seriously, they're feet sweaters. They're the socially acceptable equivalent to wearing slippers. Let's go back to this point: they're basically feet sweaters.
Puffy vest.
I got a puffy vest a couple weeks ago, and I am in love. They keep you warm without being stifling, and all you have to do is throw it on over one of your many sweaters.
Boot cuffs.
Boot cuffs: an easy way to look like you have spent hours laboring over your outfit. Match them to your sweater or scarf, and your outfit is next level for basically no effort.
Peacoat.
They keep you warm without the annoying bulkiness, covering the fact that you're potentially wearing a pajama top, and they're super flattering. What's not to like?
Headband.
Keep your ears warm, your hair back, and accessorize. Headbands are perfect for avoiding hat hair, and you don't even need to take it off when you go inside! Just like boot cuffs, pair them with something else in your outfit, and you look like the best type of matching.
Leather Jacket.
An easy way to look badass. Throw one on over your jeans or leggings with some boots, and even if you've just rolled out of bed, you look ready to take on the world. And you totally are.
Beanie
Cover up that bad hair day, and look really hipster/edgy while you do it.
A flannel.
A flannel shirt is everything fall clothing should be: warm, able to be layered, and stylish. They go with everything, and you're sure to look perfectly in season. (It's not a coincidence that Queen B is wearing the same pattern.)
