It's the most wonderful time of the year ... Christmastime!
There's nothing that I love more than Christmastime and how you cuddle up next to your tree and watch Christmas movies. I love spending time with my family and friends watching some of the best Christmas classics.
So folks, pour yourself a glass of hot cocoa, cuddle up next to the fire and pop in some of these holiday classics to get yourself in the Christmas mood. You have from now until Dec. 25, so start now!
1. "Elf"
My actual favorite Christmas movie; "Elf" is a Christmas must-watch movie. It actually never fails to make me laugh. Also, it makes me always want to get on the next train to the city to go see all of the Christmas decorations and maybe grab a cup of the world's best coffee.
2. "National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation"
Another one of my personal favorites is "National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation." It never fails to make me laugh and I completely relate to how crazy it gets when your family is together over the holidays.
3. "A Christmas Story"
The movie is quoted year-round within my household. It always runs on a continuous loop on Christmas Day in my household. Nothing is better than watching the movie with your whole family and crying from laughing so hard.
4. "Eloise at Christmastime"
A childhood favorite of mine; we always watched it while en route to New York while I was a kid. I love "Eloise and the Plaza", and nothing's better than watching it if you're going into the city soon. The movie always made me feel that the Plaza was a magical place.
5. "How The Grinch Stole Christmas"
Another holiday classic near and dear to my heart. It has the power to make your own heart grow three sizes while watching it.
6. "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer"
A classic that must be watched each year is "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer." It will put you right in the Christmas mood.
7. "Santa Claus is Comin' to Town"
Another personal favorite of mine is "Santa Claus is Comin' to Town." It's an oldie, but a goodie.
8. "Frosty the Snowman"
Another one of my favorite Christmas movies. It is the best to watch this movie after the first big snowfall of the season.
9. "A Charlie Brown Christmas"
Who doesn't watch this classic at Christmastime? It always makes me happy to watch it. Also, it makes me think back to elementary school when we sang "Christmas Time is Here."
10. "Home Alone"
It's not Christmas unless you watch "Home Alone", plain and simple.
11. "Love Actually"
A great movie to sit down with your best friends, "Love Actually" is a must-watch. All of the intertwined plot lines show us that Love is really what connects us all.
12. "Four Christmases"
The movie will make you laugh so hard. I love watching "Four Christmases" because it has so many great one-liners that my family uses year-round, including "mistletoe."
