College students are sensitive—we are tired, we are stressed, we are the living epitomes of messes. For once (or a few times), we just want things to go our way. However, the universe tends to be a cruel mistress, and most of the time we're stuck with situations where we become completely annoyed and stressed. Here are some of the many things that can make college students want to scream into the void.

1. When the professor arrives right before you're allowed to leave.

Nothing feels worse than having only a few minutes left to wait for the professor, getting ready to go, and then hearing the dreaded, "Sorry I'm late!"

2. One test? No big deal. But tests in every class during the same day/week?

This happened a lot in high school, but it seems to happen even more in college. Whether it be tests or a huge paper or assignment, it's hard to manage everything because you don't know what to study for the most.

3. Wi-Fi that conks out when you need it the most.

It always seems to happen right when there's an important deadline coming up. It's like the Wi-Fi knows when you need it.

4. People asking about future plans.

"What are you going to college for?" "What do you want to do with your life?" "How are you going to pay off your loans?"

5. When class isn't canceled when it clearly should have been.

"Those few inches of snow we got overnight made the roads really slippery. The prof should totally cancel class, and it's stupid if they don't. I have some stuff I need to finish."

6. Homework over breaks.

Aren't breaks supposed to be, you know, breaks? As in, a break from school and homework? Apparently some professors didn't get the memo.

7. Procrastination.

We just want our assignments to be done without having to do anything.

8. When you're floor mates/roommate(s) are loud when you're trying to sleep or study.

It's like living in a hotel with a middle school volleyball team sometimes. There are quiet hours for a reason.

9. Waking up for 8 a.m.s, or just waking up in general.

Morning classes are the bane of most of our existences. With early classes and nights filled with homework, it's hard to get out of bed.

10. Group projects.

No matter what class it's for, group projects are the worst. Having part of your grade partially depend on someone else? No, thank you.

11. Lectures that last for-e-ver.

Some lectures are only 50 minutes, while others can last up to three hours. No matter the length, there will be days where it'll feel like years have gone by.

12. Professors who don't go off the syllabus.

Planning ahead and knowing what's going on in class is great, which is why syllabuses are so handy. There are professors who will completely disregard the schedule and just do what they want. It's not very nice of them.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
