11 Ways You Know You're Obsessed With Disney!
Disney Parks Blog

If you’re anything like me, you have Disney going through your mind 24/7. Disney is more of a way life than just thing you happened to like. Some people like to deem Disney Childish, you are not one of those people. So if you have ever done anything on this list you are probably obsessed with Disney and that is amazing!

1) You have planed multiple Disney Vacations for fun.

I have spent hours on end planning Disney Vacations, making the most expensive, making one on budgets just for fun. Going through and picking different hotels whether it be as expensive as the Grand Floridian and The Grand California or lower budget like All Star hotels in Disney World. There is nothing I enjoy more and I bet you feel the same way.

2) You find yourself quoting Disney all the time!

We are all guilty of this don’t try to hide it. I always find myself using a quoting Disney when I’m just hanging out with my friends, to quoting Disney in a paper ( Yes, I have done it before). There is a perfect Disney quote for every occasion for example: When someone makes you mad “ Alright that’s it! Dishonor! Dishonor on your whole family! Dishonor on you! Dishonor on your Cow”- Mushu ( Mulan)

3) You watch a lot Disney Youtubers!

( Shown: The Thingamavlogs)

The first thing I do when I go on youtube is see if my favorite Disney youtubers have uploaded a video. I find my days filled with weekly themed weeks with the Thingamavlogs, amazing Disney World updates with TheTimTracker and his wife TheJennTracker ( He also has an amazing mustache), always being able to keep with everything Disney with Mr.Cheezypop. and so many more. They are a great part of any Disney fan week, they keep updated when you live far away from the parks.

4) You have your Disney bucket list!

Every Disney fan has a Disney bucket list it could to be watch all the Disney movies including Marvel, LucusFlim, and Pixar. To visiting every single Disney Park in the world. Every Disney fan has Disney bucket list they just need to complete!

5) You burst into song!

I will be walking to class and i will start singing I Will Make a Man out of You from Mulan or Let It Go from Frozen. I will find my self singing Disney songs all the time.

6) You can get into some heated debates about Disney.

We all have been there, it’s a normal day and your talking you friends and they saying that isn’t accurate about Disney or they make fun of your favorite Disney movie and suddenly you are in a debate about Disney and all you know is you need to come out on top.

7) You still miss Maelstrom.

Maelstrom was in Disney World’s EPCOT and got replaced with a frozen ride. When the news broke Maelstrom was closing Disney fans hearts broke everywhere. Maelstrom has a special place in Disney fans hearts and we still miss to this day.

8) You like mention Disney facts everywhere.

I have been known to say random Disney facts out of the blue. I will be eating dinner and someone will mention something about trains and then i will come out of the blue and say " Walt Disney loved Trains." I will say random facts like that all the time. Every Disney fan does.

9) You have made friends in the Disney community,

My favorite thing is to go on my Tumblr and talk to all the people I've met through there. Something about being able to rant about something you are so passionate about with other person who has the same passion is amazing. I'm able to rant or fangirl over Disney and they completely understand.

10) You have Disneybound before.

( Shown: My Disneybound of Mary Poppins)

Disneybounding is when you take normal clothes and you match it to a Disney characters color scheme. Everyone whose Disneybouding knows how addicting it is. I'm always being little accessorizes so i can work on my next Disneybound. Every obsessed Disney fan has planned an outfit out and have worn somewhere and if your lucky that place is the parks.

11) You call Disney your second home.

If you have been to the parks or even if you haven't, you know it’s your second home, it’s a place you know you belong at! Every Disney Fan has moment when they go into Magic Kingdom and they cry at the sight of the castle because they know they are home.

Disney fans come in all shapes and all sizes and when they are obsessed they can be some of craziest but nicest people you will ever meet. They have Disney going through their minds all the time and because that they are obsessed and i wouldn't have it any other way.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
