People suck, but sometimes you're lucky enough to find people who don't suck as much as the rest. I like to call the less sucky people "friends." But if you're like me, you hate just about everyone and everything. So when you have an awful person in your life, here's 11 ways to deal with them.

1. Avoid them

There's a difference between ignoring them and completely ignoring them. When you completely ignore someone, you basically stare at them after the said something to you, and just walk away without saying anything

2. Ignore them

Try to not even deal with them.

3. If you can't ignore them, try to engage as little as possible.

Like, barely at all.

4. Completely ignore them

There's a difference between ignoring, and completely ignoring them. When you completely ignore someone, you just stare and look away when they talk to you.

5. Be overly nice

Kindness kills.

6. Vent

This is my personal favorite. If completely ignoring someone isn't your style, or you can't bring yourself to be mean to their face, that's fine! Just take out your frustration by talking poorly about them behind their backs to your friends (as long as you're with people you trust).

7. Talk poorly about them to their face

Hey, if you're able to handle it, go for it!

8. Don't trash them on social media

Stooping to their level of crap is not the solution, you just look like garbage.

9. Try reasoning with them

Okay, maybe you're tired of the feud and you just want the drama to end. Try reasoning and talking out problems with the person

10. Beat the crap out of them

Kidding! Don't do that, seriously.

11. Tell them to f*ck off

For example: "F*ck off Jim."

Hope I could help.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
