I have always loved everything and all things Harry Potter since I read the series for the first time in fourth grade. It has been nine years since then, and I have had plenty time to find other ways to experience the series I love. Lucky for me, the possibilities are endless, and more come around all the time. If you love "Harry Potter" as much as I do, these things may be of interest to you.

1. Pottermore.

The Pottermore interactive website for "Harry Potter" fans was launched in 2012. Pottermore was created to allow fans to explore more of the Harry Potter World. When you join Pottermore, you take a quiz to be sorted into your house, as well as one to get your wand. I was sorted into Gryffindor and have a 12 and half inch wand made out of English Oak Wood and a Phoenix Feather Core. You can read character profiles, articles, features, and even more exclusive content.

2. The Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Studios.

As a Potterhead, I can say that this is one of the coolest experiences I have ever had. The first park opened in Florida in June 2010. A second park was opened just recently in California, in April of this year. I visited the Wizarding World of Harry Potter in Florida this past summer.

In the three days I spent exploring, I still don’t think I saw it all. While in the park you are able to walk around both Hogsmeade and Diagon Alley and enter shops (including Weasley Wizards Wheezes, Ollivanders, Honeydukes, and Quality Quidditch Supplies). There are also many neat rides. My two favorite rides were: The Forbidden Journey, and Escape from Gringotts.

The Forbidden Journey takes you through many different portions of the story on a “claw” that seats four. You will tilt forward and backwards as you go through the ride and will encounter dementors, and the Whomping Willow, among other things. Just as neat as the ride itself is the walk through Hogwarts that you have to take to reach it. Escape from Gringotts is a mix of rollercoaster, and 3D animation. You will encounter drops and spins as you follow Bill Weasley on an epic ride to get out of Gringotts.

3. Warner Brothers Studio Tour London: The Making of "Harry Potter."

Though I have not personally been to London to experience this tour, I have heard amazing things about it. On this tour, you have the opportunity to walk through the authentic set and see real props used in the filming of the "Harry Potter" series. The Great Hall, Dumbledore’s office, Diagon Alley and more.

4. Hogwarts Is Here.

This is an amazing fan-made website that lets you actually take Hogwarts courses, whenever it fits into your schedule. There are currently three years’ worth of classes, as well as various career paths that you can follow. And it is all free! I have been participating in classes at my leisure for a little over a year now. Though I am technically still a first year, the classes are such a fun way to experience Hogwarts in a way like I never have before.

5. "A Very Potter Musical."

This musical was completely fan-written and fan-produced. With all its success there is now a second one called "The Very Potter Sequel." When I first sat down to watch it, I have to admit that I was very offended. How could someone poke that much fun at my beloved Harry Potter? I have come to appreciate it, though. It is quite funny and I understand now that the fans were doing it out of love for the series, not in spite of it.

6. Quidditch.

Did you know that you can play Quidditch for real? Because you can. I have actually been a part of a Quidditch team at my school, it is pretty neat. We have hoops just as you would in a real game, we run around on broomsticks, and have a snitch, bludgers, and a quaffle. Many universities have their own Quidditch teams. It is a great way to get to know other fans, as well as play the Wizarding sport that we have all wanted to.

7. Additional books.

There are three books that J.K Rowling has written to accompany the series. Two books are Hogwarts Library Books, "Quidditch Through the Ages," and "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them." These two books come as a set. "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them" includes annotations written by Harry Potter and Ron Weasley. The last book is, "The Tales of Beedle the Bard." This is a complete set of the magical fairytales that are referenced in the final Harry Potter book.

8. "The Unofficial Harry Potter Cookbook"

This cookbook includes many recipes from the Wizarding World that you can make in your very own kitchen. It includes recipes for Dumbledore’s Lemon Drops, Pumpkin Pasties, Rock Cakes, and many others.

9. "Magic Beyond the Words"

This an interesting movie that tells the story of J.K Rowling and how she came to write the Harry Potter series. It is a very touching story, J.K Rowling faced a lot of challenges before she had success with the Harry Potter novels.

10. "Harry Potter and the Cursed Child"

This is a new play written by J.K Rowling. It takes place 19 years after the end of the seventh book, and focuses on the life of Harry’s son, Albus Severus. The first performance will be in July in the Palace Theatre London. On July 31, the script of the play will be available in book form.

11. "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them"

This is a movie based on the book of the same name. The screenplay was written by J.K Rowling, and will be released in November this year. It is a prequel to the Harry Potter series, and will be the first installment of a trilogy. The movie focuses on Newt Scamander, the future author of "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them," and his escaped dangerous and magical creatures.
