If you love flying as much as I do, the airport has always been one of your favorite places to go. I love being able to go explore a new place, but I also love to people-watch there. No matter what time of the year it is, or what day of the week you're traveling, we all see the same types of people at the airport. You could be in Chicago, San Diego, or anywhere, and you can find these 11 people if you look hard enough:

1. The Mickey Mouse Fanatic

You know who I'm talking about. The family that goes to Disney every year, and everyone they’re with is matching from their Mickey ears, to matching t-shirts, to matching shoes. I love going to Disney too, but not nearly as much as they do.

2. The Guy with Flowers

Ugh, whenever I see a guy with flowers at the airport, serious jealousy kicks in. Every girl wants to come home from a long trip to a guy surprising her with flowers. But sadly, this isn’t a reality for everyone. Only a few select lucky ladies have the privilege of dating a guy who will actually do this. So, listen up boys, if you are dating a girl, and she goes on vacation, surprise her with flowers when you pick her up. She will be beyond surprised and love you even more.

3. The Runner

For whatever reason, these people lost track of time, got stuck in traffic, or just really like running through an airport to catch their next flight. I’ve had to do this once before, and let me tell you, it’s not fun... They run through at lightning speeds dodging everyone in the airport to get to their gate before doors close. Their name is probably being called on the overhead as they rush to ADD.

4. The Air Marshal

If you’ve ever seen "Bridesmaids," you’re familiar with the scene where Melissa McCarthy’s character sits next to a man who she’s convinced is the air marshal. Whenever I’m traveling, I like to play the “Who’s the Air Marshal?" game. You could be completely wrong with your guess, and there’s no way of knowing if you’re right or not. On the other hand, it’s so much more fun than "The Alphabet Game."

5. The Honeymooning Couple

You can spot this couple from a mile away. They’re usually holding hands, gazing into each other’s eyes, and about to board a plane to Hawaii, Fiji, or some other tropical place. You ask them how they met, and it’s probably the cutest story you’ve ever heard. I have to admit, I’m a sucker for a good “How We Met” story, so I tend to ask everyone this question. CAUTION: This couple might engage in too much PDA, so admire them at your own risk.

6. The Pissy TSA Agent

I know that TSA agents are only doing their job, and that dealing with people all day would get old fast. I always try to get through security as fast as possible with a positive attitude, but that’s not possible with TSA agents. They keep us safe, but the least they could do is not get angry or snarl when I’m just following their rules.

7. The Masked Man, or Woman

We all know that airports, or any public places for that matter, are filled with germs. What else would you expect when millions of people travel through on any given day? But really...you have to wear a mask? It probably won’t keep that many germs out anyway, so there’s really no point to wearing one.

8. The Sleeper

For some reason, this person likes to make the waiting area their own personal bedroom. They take up at least two seats to pass out on until they have to board their plane. The worst part is that they are usually snoring and drooling too! Some people these days...

9. The Baby

We all love seeing babies at the airport... Until they end up sitting right behind us on our next flight. While in the airport, babies are mesmerized by everything going on around them, so they don’t have time to cry. The only problem with seeing a cute baby is when they become a demon child on your plane, crying their eyes out for the next two hours.

10. The Business(wo)man

Businessmen and women stand out like a sore thumb. They are all work, and no fun. When everyone else loves to travel, they hate it because it’s for their job. All they are focused on is getting home as fast as possible. If I had to travel every day for work, I guess I might even get bored of it too.

11. The Cute Old Couple

This couple has been married for at least 30 years, and has traveled together too many times to count. Everyone wants to get to this point some day, because no matter how many times they bicker, there’s no one they would rather travel the world with. We are never too old to travel with our best friends, and this couple is living proof of that.

The airport is one of the best places you’ll find to people-watch. No matter where you are, it’s fascinating to see where everyone is going.
