I don't think that anything else in this world feels better than having an extended family that feels more like an immediate one. Everybody always has your back. You're in trouble? Call your aunt. Need money? Visit your grandmother. Bored out of your mind? Hit up any of your cousins. They'll be there for you. It truly is the life.

1. Nothing is ever awkward between anyone.

2. They're your partner in crime when making bad decisions.

3. Your aunts are pretty much a cooler version of your mom (still love you, mama).

4. Your grandparent's house is basically your house too.

5. You get genuinely sad when your cousins leave the party.

6. You know who's going to bring the goods to the get-togethers.

7. You and your cousins are actually siblings with different parents.

8. You're so sibling-like that you will get picked on and teased a stupid amount.

9. You actually look forward to family gatherings.

10. Everybody in town knows how close you all are.

11. You're proud of who your family is.
