I think that all college students will agree that showering on campus is not like showering at home; especially if you're like me and had multiple bathrooms in your home (what is sharing a bathroom????). You often have to worry about flip-flops and finicky water heaters as well as if there is even room in the bathroom for you to shower. Here is my list of tips and products to invest in to make your shower experience at college a bit easier.

1. Invest in a robe

I did not have a robe until a few months into my sophomore year and it made things so much easier.

See? Doesn't she look happy?

2. If you dye your hair, color depositing conditioner is a must

Try Overtone. So many colors to mix and match to find your hair color and the treatment that works for you.

3. If you shave, moisturizing razor blades are a savior

I love this brand. No need for shave gel or cream. Plus is moisturizes and the shave is so close.

4. Long hair = claw clips

These things. Ya, they're great.

5. Coconut oil. Coconut oil. Coconut oil

After shower conditioner. Overnight facial moisturizer. Body moisturizer. Makeup remover. There are so many things you can do with it.

6. Sugar + coconut oil + essential oil = cheap sugar scrub

You're welcome.

7. Multiple towels

You should wash your towels regularly. Just do it. Get another towel so you don't have to always do laundry. But wash your towels

8. Waterproof phone case/plastic storage bag

Music helps me keep track of my time and it's fun to dance. This way you don't ruin your phone.

9. Makeup in the shower is a no no

Just don't do it. Here.

10. You don't have to shower every day

If all you do is go to class or just lay in bed one day, don't feel like you have to shower for the sake of showering. It can be bad for your skin.

11. Mysterious pain? Try a hot shower!

Literally will solve half of your medical problems.

I like to think of showering as me time. I take at least one shower a week when I know my roommate isn't going to be in the room when I'm done so I don't have to rush to dress. There is no reason for this part of college to be stressful.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
